The SSI Science of Diving specialty gives you a complete understanding of the underwater world and its effects on the human body.

It's required training for most SSI Professional programs and some Extended Range programs, making it an essential step in expanding your dive knowledge. The course is available entirely online, so you can earn your certification from home.

Upon completion, you'll earn the SSI Science of Diving specialty certification — and you'll be halfway to the coveted SSI Divemaster rating.
